Faversham is a terrific place to shop and visit and we love welcoming visitors and customers to Brogdale Farm. That’s why we are very happy to support the latest Faversham Fiver Fest initiative taking place on 9th October for two weeks – which encourages the public to shop local and support Faversham’s businesses.
From 9th until 23rd October, various businesses around Faversham will be running special £5 offers to customers. These promotions will show the diversity and value of what they sell and are also a way to say thank you to the communities that support Faversham.
Businesses come together to support each other, share each other’s offers, create maps, do trails, work on PR – everything to get people moving around the town, and discovering their local independent shops.
The Fiver Fest is organised by a nationwide volunteer-led organisation called Totally Locally. They help small independent businesses come together to create a more vibrant, stronger and resilient town by encouraging the community to think and act locally.
Faversham is just one of over 100 towns across the UK that take part in the Fiver Fest initiative – in order to encourage shoppers to support their independent high street and businesses.
The Fiver Fest in Faversham is being organised by Faversham Town Council and InFaversham (the website about local businesses for people who shop in Faversham) which is run by volunteers.
You can download a leaflet with details of who’s taking part and each business’s offers using the link below. The leaflet includes a map with each business’s location marked, along with a list of on-line participants.
We strongly urge Faversham’s residents, shoppers and visitors to lend local businesses their support – it’s been a very tough year for businesses and it would mean so much to them.
Plus you can grab yourself some great offers and bargains at the same time!
