Learn something new at Brogdale Collections

Set in beautiful Kentish countryside and home to the world’s largest collection of temperate fruits, it’s hardly surprising the orchards at Brogdale are the perfect spot to enjoy rural workshops.

About Brogdale Collections’ courses

Brogdale Collections organises an extensive timetable of short courses which are absolutely perfect for anyone who enjoys being hands on, spending time outdoors and learning something new.

They have now released dates for their courses in 2023 which range from foraging walks to gardening; cider making to willow weaving; bee keeping to orchard design and much more.

Perfect for gifts

These courses are a perfect gift idea and with Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day fast approaching, might be the perfect treat for that special person in your life. Brogdale Collections also sells gift vouchers, which enable the recipient to choose and book the course of their choice at a time that suits them.

Time to spare?

Some people are finding they have more time on their hands. Either they’re recently retired, or young children have started school – taking part in a rural workshop is a fabulous way of enjoying learning something new, picking up new skills and meeting like-minded people.  All in the lovely setting of Brogdale Farm.

(Note. Brogdale Collections also welcomes volunteers and has a wonderful team which helps with organising events, looking after visitors and taking care of the fields, gardens and orchards at Brogdale Collections.  Another option for those people who are looking for new interests.)

Things to do at Brogdale Farm

For those people taking part in Brogdale’s workshops, they can also enjoy the other businesses at Brogdale Farm.  Including Tiddly Pomme with its delicious selection of locally produced food and drink and fruit-inspired gifts;  The Courtyard Restaurant for a spot of breakfast, lunch or afternoon tea; Tania Paige Designs for a creative workshop; Country Practice for a relaxing treatment or Kakawa Chocolate for sweet treats!
