Our latest tenant spotlight falls on Tiddly Pomme. This was the first shop to open when the Market Place at Brogdale Farm was refurbished a few years ago and is actually based in an old cow shed! It’s a very attractive shop with long wide doors that open onto the Market Place’s courtyard, featuring tables and chairs, along with table tennis to help Brogdale Farm’s employees enjoy their lunchbreaks.
About Tiddly Pomme
The shop specialises in selling a wonderful range of fresh, local produce and foods and is home to one of the region’s best ranges of Kentish ales, ciders, wines, spirits and liqueurs. Tiddly Pomme also produces its very own very popular Brogdale Craft Cider – called Woolly Pig!
Partnerships at Brogdale
Tiddly Pomme has a special arrangement with another Brogdale Farm tenant – Brogdale Collections – a charity which promotes the National Fruit Collection and is home to acres and acres of orchards. Tiddly Pomme sells Brogdale’s seasonal, heritage fruits – including cherries, pears, plums and apples – along with acting as the main stockist for Brogdale’s delicious juices.
The relationship between Tiddly Pomme and Brogdale Collections is a great example of how tenants at Brogdale Farm can work together. They are part of a very cooperative business community.
Shops at Brogdale
Tiddly Pomme is also a great asset to Brogdale Farm’s other tenants who reap the benefits of having shops and a café located on site. Brogdale is a wonderful mix of being in a very attractive rural setting, yet having a great range facilities and without feeling remote and isolated.
