Now’s the perfect time to enjoy a beautiful wintery walk at the orchards at Brogdale Collections.  If you’re an Orchard Passholder and fancy a lovely walk to burn off all those sausage rolls and mince pies over the festive break- then you’re welcome to visit  Brogdale Collections over the Christmas period. The orchards will be open every day between 10am and 4pm.

A walk at Brogdale is a great way of entertaining the whole family as youngsters are welcome to use the play area and visit the wildlife garden too.

Nature spotting at Brogdale

Surprisingly, this time of year is good for spotting nature at Brogdale.  With the leaves now fallen, this is a great opportunity to spot nests in the trees before they are covered again in the spring.

Check out the latest update from Brogdale Collection’s resident wildlife expert, Mike Roser, on wildlife and nature during the winter at Brogdale.  Even this time of year, there’s plenty to see including migrating fieldfare and redwings along with familiar favourites such as perching buzzards.  There are signs that our badgers have been busy too.

In order to visit you need a valid Orchard Pass, these cost £13.50 for an adult, £6 for a child or £28 for a family.  Passes can be purchased on-line via Brogdale Collection’s website. Click here for details.
